Everyone’s Invited to the RPG Maker Festival 2025

Gotcha Gotcha Games that they've once again holding the RPG Maker Festival this year. This grand event has the theme of "Creators and players, everyone is the star!" In addition to new releases, players can look forward to discounts for RPG Maker products, DLCs, and even games created with RPG Maker.

Speaking of games, the studio shared that the number of participating titles is 1074 games. This is indeed a record for the event so don't miss the chance to discover new masterpieces and make some great purchases.

Happy Anniversary

There are also a lot of milestones happening in 2025. There's the 5th anniversary for RPG Maker MZ, the 10th anniversary for RPG Maker MV, and the 25th anniversary for RPG Maker 2000. In celebration of these anniversaries, the studio made sure to spread out RPG Maker Festival 2025 over 2 weeks. The RPG Maker Festival 2025 dates are:

Phase 1: February 4 to February 11

Phase 2: February 11 to February 18

Game Celebrations

The thing about RPG Maker is that it's more than just the engine. It's also about all the games that the community has made over the years. Event pages have been created on both Steam and DLsite with more than 1000 games participating.

Big Sales

Fans should be happy to know that RPG Maker MZ is being offered at 55% off on Steam. Meanwhile, RPG Maker MV is available at 93％ off, also on Steam. The studio also shared that a major update is coming very soon for RPG Maker MZ that's going to make it even easier to use.

The Handbook is Here

As mentioned, RPG Maker 2000 is celebrating 25 years. To mark this milestone, the studio is bringing back some content that was released with the RPG Maker 2000 Handbook specifically for RPG Maker MZ. It has tile sets and characters, animations, sound effects, and voice lines, all of which have been remastered for use with RPG Maker MZ.

In addition, the original assets in their RPG Maker 2000/2003 compatible format are included as well.
