Guards II: Chaos in Hell is a turn-based tactics game where each decision echoes through fire. A good way to think about the game is if Plants vs. Zombies and Darkest Dungeon had an offspring that was then raised by demons. Simple Mechanic

The game is built around a single and deceptively simple mechanic. That is, for each turn players can swap two heroes. However, behind this simple mechanic lies complex tactical depth. These include;

• Hero Rearrangement: three heroes on the front line attack while the fourth in the back recovers health.

• Ultimate Abilities: when a hero comes from the back line, they unleash a powerful ability to crush the enemy.

• Tactical Combinations: select the squad and alternate attacks to exploit enemy weaknesses.

The Circles of Hell

The game has players go on an adventure across five cultural circles of Hell where they try to defeat demonic hordes. These are:

• Egyptian Hell: Deserts filled with reanimated mummies, venomous scorpions, and snakes.

• Japanese Hell: Malevolent yokai and other vengeful spirits thirsting for revenge.

• Scandinavian Hell: A frozen wasteland where northern spirits and an army of dead warriors follow closely behind.

• Slavic Forest: An enchanted thicket with animated tree stumps, leshys, and the infamous Baba Yaga, flying in her mortar.

• Classic Hell: Where the approaches to the Devil’s throne are guarded by demons and fiends.
