Green Tree Media announced that the Three Nations DLC for Burden of Command is releasing on February 24. This upcoming major expansion is going to be available for the PC via Steam. It offers more than five hours of focused and narrative-driven gameplay. It continues the commitment of the series to historical authenticity, tactical depth, and emotionally grounded leadership storytelling.

The DLC introduces players to four standalone and story-driven scenarios that's centered on D-Day. It offers new perspectives on the Normandy landings through the eyes of British paratroopers, US paratroopers, and even the German Wehrmacht forces. Each scenario presents unique tactical challenges and leadership dilemmas shaped by the chaos and uncertainty of June 1944.

The four standalone D-Day scenarios are:

  • Pegasus Bridge: Lead British paratroopers in the critical mission to seize and hold the bridge while at the same time explore the civilian intelligence-gathering decisions that shaped the assault months in advance.
  • Benouville: Defend the village overlooking Pegasus Bridge against determined and sustained German counterattacks.
  • Steel Rain: Switch perspectives and command a mechanized German force attempting to retake the bridge.
  • Meyers Hill: Lead US paratroopers in Normandy in a scenario that features interactive live-action video developed in collaboration with leadership expert Colonel John Antal, former executive producer of Brothers in Arms.

New Features and Enhancements

The DLC also brings with it new features and enhancements. There's going to be new tactics and units like British paratrooper smoke mortars, German repeat-fire MG42s, US paratrooper intrinsic machine guns, and limited but vital anti-tank resources. Players can look forward to new leadership perspectives where they experience command decisions from all sides of the conflict that include the moral strain of leadership within a collapsing regime.

On the technical side, the improved AI results in a more aggressive and persistent enemy behavior across all scenarios. Meanwhile, the new 4:3 image format allows for interactive narrative sequences and better reflecting period photography and modern displays.
