Experience Tactical Squad-level Combat When Shrouded Aspect Arrives May 1

Gilligames announced that its turn-based tactical strategy game Shrouded Aspect is coming to Steam on May 1. This story-driven RPG is set in a medieval Celtic fantasy world where a plague is sweeping across the land.

While the god of death Despater is already out and already wreaking havoc, the plague is also a sign that the old gods are returning. Players travel across the land with Betha along with local volunteers from each region to find and destroy the source of the plague. The adventure in this medieval Celtic fantasy world results in an epic story. There are branching story paths with players given tough choices on who to take with them and who to leave behind ensures replayability of the 32 scenarios.

Gilligames Background

Studio Gilligames was founded by Todd M. Gillissie who discovered computer programming along with paper & pencil role-playing games as a young teen in the 80's. He's self-taught in various disciplines that include, among others, programming, graphic arts, music and sound engineering. Gillissie eventually put them all together and started to create games. While being primarily a hobbyist game designer & developer, he was recruited by Shrapnel Games to publish his first commercial game "Space HoRSE," released in 2002.

Then in February 2007, Gilligames released the musical sim/role-playing game "Shady O'Grady's Rising Star." This title was Gilligames' first release as a publisher. The sequel, "Rising Star 2" was eventually released on August 12 2020 and to this day continues to have an active following to this day.

Gilligames later published a few mobile games for iOS and Android, which included desert island survival games like “Stranded Without A Phone” and the match-3 word game “Word Wager’.

Then in June 2024, Todd made the decision to revisit Shrouded Aspect. This fantasy-based tactical strategy game was originally designed in 2007 but never finished as a PC game. Wishlist Shrouded Aspect on Steam now.
