The first major content update for Fae Farm is finally here. In Coasts of Croakia, players are invited to explore a new realm and at the same time meet a mysterious new character. This update is available free for those on the Nintendo Switch. It's also included to those who own the Deluxe Edition for the PC. For those who only have the Standard Edition on PC, this DLC is available for $9.99 on the Epic Games Store and Steam.
A Land with Cute Critters
Coasts of Croakia is set on Archi-pal-igo Park. This is magical place that's located on tropical rocky islands and populated by wondrous adorable critters. This new DLC offers players a main questline where players get access to a new upgradable tool called the Conch. With this, they can learn the different critter languages. Communicating with critters is important since it allows playes to not only befriend them but also have them tak along on the journey. These pet critters though aren't only about being cute. That's because they give players different kinds of buffs which let them customize their loadouts based on their current quest or activity.
A New Adventure
Coasts of Croakia has been neatly intertwined with the main storyline which means players get to start a new adventure while also learning how this content and the new gameplay features weave into the game's main narrative. Meanwhile, players who have managed to complete the main story can simply head on over to the Coasts of Croakia content and get to experience it as a standalone adventure.
Patch 2.0.0
In addition to experiencing new content, players can also enjoy the improvements introduced to the game through Patch 2.0.0. The tool selector for example has been updated and can now be tabbed through as before or opened into a wheel instead for easier selection. Players can also look forward to seeing new and unique dialogs to existing vendor NPCs. The new update also allows players the ability to store more items in their house storage.
