FANTASIAN Neo Dimension is Coming Out on December 5

Square Enix announced that FANTASIAN Neo Dimension is launching on December 5. It's going to be available both physically and digitally for the PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, a digital version is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and the PC through Steam.

The game is set in a world that’s being threatened by mechteria. Mechteria is a deathly mechanical infection that’s robbing humans not just of their emotions but even their lives. The story focuses on the protagonist Leo awakens in a strange land that’s filled with machines and has only one memory left to him. Using the Warp Device that was left behind, he now has to go on an interdimensional journey to reclaim his lost memories as well as save the world from the mechteria infection.

One key feature of the game are the battles. The key is to manipulate skill trajectories. Players need to draw in as many enemies as they can and then find a way to defeat them in an efficient manner. There's going to be different types of unique and powerful foes that bring with them a whole range of tricks at their disposal.

Players can also enjoy more than 150 beautiful field areas that feature handmade dioramas and combined with CG graphics. In these fields they get to encounter various a myriad of quests and have them uncover hidden items.

Fans should be happy to know that for this game, none other than Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi was involved. He’s joined by renowned composer Nobuo Uematsu. The two lead a team the offers an original RPG story through FANTASIAN Neo Dimension.

The game was actually first released for the Apple Arcade back in 2021. This upcoming title is an enhanced version and has new features that include English and Japanese voiceovers along with an extra difficulty option. In addition, the versions for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions of the game offer 4K support.
