Something exciting is coming to Path of Exile 2 this week. Players can look forward to Forbidden Rites, which is a new event league. It comes out on September 4 as part of the 0.5.5 update.
Like with new leagues introduced in the game, Forbidden Rites brings with it a fresh economy along with a whole set of new challenges that come with exclusive rewards. To join Forbidden Rites, simply head on over to the character selection screen and then create a new character.
One key feature of Forbidden Rites is that during the campaign, Rituals not only give Unique items and Omens but also hand out Currency and items. Making it even more exciting is that the Rituals spawn in boss arenas. In addition, Rituals also chain from area to area, which results in extra bosses being added to each subsequent Ritual encounter. That means that during the campaign, players get the chance to fight multiple bosses simultaneously in a single Ritual encounter. Once the chain is completed, they can then select a guaranteed Unique item .

Path of Exile 2 is an action RPG that features co-op for up to six players. The game takes place in the land of Wraeclast, a dark continent that's populated by unique cultures, ancient secrets, and monstrous dangers. There's currently a sinister threat, long thought destroyed, that has started creeping back on the edge of civilization, driving people mad, and sickening the land with Corruption. The game offers a campaign with six acts, 100 distinct environments, 600 monsters and 100 bosses.
Path of Exile 2 offers players to choose from twelve character classes, two for every combination of Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence. Each of the class variants focuses on a different playstyle. Players can combine skills from many classes together to create your ideal character build.
