Full Version of Blight Night Releasing to Steam on April 29

The full release of Blight Night is happening on April 29. This is good news for all fans considering that the lo-fi and synth-drenched survival-horror game is from solo developer Nick Duttweiler.

A Love Letter

The combination of the CRT scanlines with the sinister nostalgia, it's clear that Blight Night is a love letter to VHS-era horror. It doesn't stop there as the game also has the desolate towns, twisted creatures, and even mysteries that should have remained buried.

Surviving the Horror

The game is set in a town called Golden Springs in 1986. Once quiet, the town now stands empty. It is said that an outbreak has managed to wipe out humanity. Players take on the role of lone survivor Sonny Barstow, who now has to navigate against the horrors of the aftermath. The haunted ruins of Golden Springs is a place where light is fleeting, ammo is rare, and the shadows hide something that's truly worse than death.

In the game, players can look forward to solving puzzles and try to survive against terrifying and powerful bosses. There's also going to expanded areas that unravel even further the chilling lore that's behind Golden Springs.
