Supergiant Games announced that v.10 of Hades II is finally here. This rogue-like dungeon crawler has players fight beyond the Underworld of Greek myth using dark sorcery to take on the sinister Titan of Time.
Hades II was in development for four-and-a-half years. Part of the time, particularly a year and a half, the game was in early access. Early Access development was foundational to the entire idea of the original Hades, and proved instrumental as well to this latest game.
In a post, the studio shared that for those who have been keeping up with the game's early access development, there's a lot of exciting additions they can look forward to. For example, there's the true ending of the story. There's also a lot of new events, new music, new Fater List prophecies, and new late-game unlockables, to name a few.
Players should also be happy to know that Achievements are now available. There are 50 of them for now. The thing is, players won't need to start the game over in order to earn Achievement. That's because some Achievements can be earned retroactively once they load their saved progress.
Future Plans
The studio shared that they gave the full version of the game everything they've got. Like with the major updates released, they'll be keeping a close watch on the launch and make sure that it is "as problem-free as possible." In particular, if there are any issues, they'll be ready to deploy hotfixes or patches.
Official Soundtrack
The completion of Hades II also means the completion of the Hades II Original Soundtrack. This was made possible by none other than award-winning composer Darren Korb. Like the game itself, this is the studio's biggest-ever soundtrack as it clocks in at just under four hours of music created for this game. Check out the complete list of tracks here.
