GACHIAKUTA: The Game is Coming Soon to Steam

Com2uS announced that fans excited for GACHIAKUTA: The Game can now wishlist it on Steam. This real-time action RPG features intense melee-focused combat. It fully recreates the world of the hit Japanese anime Gachiakuta in full 3D.

The game is based on Gachiakuta, originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine and later adapted into an anime. It is the unique atmosphere and worldview of the anime that was reinterpreted in the game through stylish action.

Gachiakuta tells the story of Rudo, a boy who survives in the slums by scavenging through the trash. It is because of this that he faces constant discrimination. However, one day he is falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. As a result, he's cast down into the Pit, which is a place feared by all. In the Pit, he encounters the cleaner Enjin and learns the truth behind the world.

It is also in the Pit that Rudo awakens his power, which is the ability to draw out the souls of discarded objects and manifest their value as a weapon. With this, his journey to change the world begins.

GACHIAKUTA: The Game invites players to experience the world of the cleaners, trash beasts, and the Pit (Ground) brought to life with high-quality cel-shaded graphics. While the game is indeed faithful to the anime, it's able to offer a new layer of emotion through exclusive direction and dynamic action sequences.

Survival

In the game, the polluted zone and No Man's Land of the Pit are filled with dangerous trash beasts, outlaws, and discarded objects. Players need to enter these hazardous areas and defeat enemies. They'll then need to secure valuable objects and return safely to headquarters.

Experience gained in battle and the objects collected contribute to character growth and expanded combat styles. The goal is to survive the relentless speed and constant tension.

Cleaners Headquarters

Players can use the objects obtained through missions to customize and develop the Cleaners Headquarters. They can expand the base to unlock new features and establish a safe stronghold against the threats of outlaws. The Cleaners Headquarters also lets players enjoy slice-of-life interactions with fellow cleaners.
