Paradox Interactive announced that its upcoming title Darfall is arriving in Early Access on Steam this year. This game was made possible through a partnership with SquareNite and released under Paradox Arc. It offers elements of roleplaying strategy game and combines it with settlement-building mechanics.
In the game, you get to take on the role of hero who has to explore the land and go on an adventure to obtain power. At the same time, the hero also has to manage a budding village in an attempt to grow and expand it to b a larger town. It's not going to be a walk in the park especially as the dark forces that plague the land are not afraid to unleash their minions once the sun sets. As the hero, it's up to you to take a stand and make sure to defend the village. As you thwart the forces of evil each night, the nighttime raids become even more dangerous as well as numerous.

SquareNite was founded by Lukas and Martin in 2019 in Slovakia. Their experience working on prototypes for mobile and PC gave them valuable skills and experience of developing video games. This upcoming title had its start as a modest tower defense game which later evolved to become an expansive city-builder having RPG elements. With their sheer passion and love of the craft, they've managed to transform it to a project.
