A new DLC is set to be released for UnderRail on November 1. Titled as "Heavy Duty," the highlight is the introduction of three weapon types. There's the light machine gun and the minigun, which are under a new skill known as Heavy Guns. The third is the grenade launcher which is going to be part of the existing Guns Skill. Once these weapons go live, it should result in some interesting play styles.
This upcoming DLC also features a feature a high-level side-mission that players are sure to be excited about. That's because it's been designed to give veterans a challenge. In particular, they'll have to go against one of the most formidable fighting force in the game. For higher difficulties, this mission serves as the ultimate test of the players' particular build. New Patch
Early this month, a patch was released in preparation for the new DLC. It featured new seasonal events while also introducing fixes to items like making the scopes, crossbow superstring, pneumatic reloader, and laser sight being stackable. There were also changes made to Praetorian heavy armor. Changes were made as well to NPCs with, among others, Doctor Merrick now treating injured players and Gorsky being immune to fear. The Last Stronghold
Released all the way back in December 2015, UnderRail offers an old school turn-based isometric indie role-playing game which focuses on exploration and combat. The game is set in a distant future where life on the surface of the Earth is no longer possible. As a result, whatever is left of humanity now lives in the Underrail. This is a vast system of metro station-states which serve as the last stronghold of a fading race.
In the game, players take control of one of the citizens of such a station-state. The life of the protagonist suddenly becomes much more interesting and even dangerous. That's because our protagonist has been middle of the conflicting factions of Underrail in an attempt to survive in this already harsh underground environment.
