Get to Run a Blacksmith Shop When Tempered Hue Comes Out Next Year

Zugalu Entertainment announced that Tempered Hue is now available to wishlist on Steam. The game is also planned to come out for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

The game was made possible with the generous support of the Canada Media Fund. This third-person grim-cozy game is all about running a blacksmith shop. It's planned to come out sometime in the third quarter of 2026 and to be priced at $19.99.

A Blacksmith’s Life

In Tempered Hue, players take on the role as the only blacksmith in a town. That means locals and visitors are to visit them looking for common goods and even unique gifts.They can forge various items in their workshop and then use them to earn coins. They can also deliver orders to neighbors which can also strengthen bonds and unlock new recipes and questlines.

Cavern Delving

To craft anything, players need to travel into the caverns of the nearby escarpment. They'll have to explore the unique environments to mine and forage. There's going to be different metals, flora, and even fauna, simply awaiting discovery. Players can upgrade their tools to obtain higher tier resources, and scale the heights of the caverns to find unique items, lost townsfolk, and uncover mysteries.

Forging Friendships

With Ambyth in disarray, there's no question that the townsfolk need the help of the players. Finding survivors unlock new questlines with deeper connections letting players unlock new recipes and bonuses when like becomes love. However, connections have been in place before and a friendship with one person could find players at odds with another.

Visiting Towns

The game allows players to team up with a maximum of three friends in their version of Ambyth or sail to visit theirs. The escarpment’s layouts are unique to each player’s game. This means the caves of friends are going to differ greatly from their own. Share discoveries and build memories beyond the main storyline. Players get to encounter new "townsfolk", find rare recipes, and spend big at their friends’ blacksmith shops.
