Developer OmniMegaSuperCorp announced that Ledgerbound is now launching on August 11. The game invites players to step onto the battlefield and make friends with a ragtag crew of heroes. They then have to face an immortal.
The game was originally scheduled to come out on July 14. However, the studio made the decision to delay the release, revealing in a statement that they wanted to have what can be described as "the best possible version" of Ledgerbound.
The studio went on to say that the game features comedic writing from the writer of Helldivers 2. It offers tactical party-based combat and combines it with bureaucratic worldbuilding along with that very peculiar love interest to romance. In addition, the characters in the game are voiced by some of the best actors in the industry that include Matthew Mercer, Ben Starr, Stephanie Kerbis, and Jeff Leach, to name a few.
Ledgerbound invites players to take on the role of an insurance adjuster. It's set at a time when an ancient enemy threatens life as we know it. As a result, players now have to leave their cushy desk behind and step onto the battlefield.
Players form a team as they face an ancient immortal foe that threatens the fabric of the universe. Each time they're able to cut down one of the Vacari, they return but deadlier, dastardlier, and even more dangerous than before. Each battle has players come up with clever strategic thinking to win.
