Granblue Fantasy: Relink Available at 50% for a Limited Period

Good news for fans of the Granblue Fantasy series. The action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink is being offered at a 50% discount. This promotion is part of the Cygames Holiday Sale. However, this offer only runs until January 2.

The discount is applicable not only for the Standard Edition but also for the Special Edition. In addition to the base game, the former also comes with the False Sword of the Apocalypse weapon. Since it's fully upgraded, this makes it very useful especially in the early stages of the game. Other items in the Special Edition are Glittercrystal x 30, 500 MSP, Fortitude Crystal (S) x 50, and Color Packs 2 & 3.

The game takes place in the Sky Realm, which is a world that has myriad islands floating in a great blue expanse. Players take on the role of a captain of a skyfaring crew. They’re then joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn along with Lyria, a young girl with mysterious powers. Players get to sail together with a colorful cast of crewmates composed of kings and misfits alike.

Gameplay

In terms of gameplay, players get to engage in real-time combat. They get to form a party of four from a diverse roster of skyfarers. Each one comes with their own unique weapons, skills, and combat styles. It’s important to remember that teamwork makes the dream work. This is especially true with the party-based mechanics that include Link Attacks and Chain Bursts.

Players have the choice to take on quests solo or with a team of up to four-players in co-op. They’ll need to bring down different enemies to obtain those rare loot which can improve their gear further. Each enemy and party formation bring their own strengths and weaknesses and the key to victory lies in finding out how the various pieces fit together.

For those who don’t want fast-paced combat, not to worry. That’s because there’s what’s known as assist modes which give players the accessibility they need.There’s also Full Assist where all actions are performed automatically while in battle.
