Developer Cygames announced that Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok is releasing on July 9. It's going to be available for the PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch 2.
The studio shared in a statement that they'll be offering a Digital Standard Edition available for $59.99. There's also going to be a Digital Special Edition that's priced at $79.99. For the console versions, they'll be coming out with Physical Editions and being offered for $59.99. For those who already have Granblue Fantasy: Relink on Steam, they can get the Digital Standard Edition Upgrade Kit for $29.99 and Digital Special Edition Upgrade Kit for $54.99.
For those wondering, this upcoming title is pretty much a refined and revamped version of Granblue Fantasy: Relink. It has a lot of new features that players can look forward to that include new co-op quest tiers and additional bosses. Another new feature is the solo mode known as the Conflux. It offers unpredictable challenges and enigmatic powers lurk within its depths.
New as well are the master traits that's sure to push characters beyond their limits. Then there are the summons which can be tactical options.
Closed Beta Test
The studio revealed that they're holding a Closed Beta Test to test crossplay across multiple platforms. During this test, players can try out the newly introduced character Beatrix and even experience her battle style ahead of launch. Participants to the CBT are to be chosen by lottery and entry applications are now open. Learn more about the CBT here.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is set in the Sky Realm. It's a world where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. Players take on the role of the captain of a skyfaring crew. They're joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn along with a young girl named Lyria who has mysterious powers. Together the group sails with a colorful cast of crewmates that include kings and misfits alike. The goal is to reach Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies.
Players can take on quests solo or get the help of others in 4-player co-op. Taking down those treacherous enemies give players the chance to score rare loot which can further enhance their gear. Every enemy and party formation has its own strengths and weaknesses. This means the key to victory is knowing how these pieces fit together.
