It's time to create your very own mecha and join the fight as Gundam Breaker 4 is now available on Steam. While there's no question that players get to experience action, the gameplay is actually focused on building custom Gunpla models and then taking them to fights. Along the way players can also upgrade them using new and better parts or better yet create more powerful Mobile Suits. Aside from the PC, the game is also launching on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch.
In addition to the Standard Edition, players can get the Deluxe Edition available for $89.99. There's also the Ultimate Edition, offered at $99.99, which has more content.
In the game, players get come up with their own mecha creations by using parts coming from at least 250 iconic Mobile Suits that's taken from across the Gundam series. They can then test these creations through a virtual battlefield with up to three players in co-op multiplayer. They get to fight through missions where they have to hack, slash and of course, shoot their way across hordes of enemy mechs. One of the new features being introduced by Gundam Breaker 4 is that players can dual-wield different weapons. This means they can come up with truly unique combos.
The Mecha Garage
In between battles, players get access to a mecha garage where they get to customize their very own creations using new parts. This is where they can also put those paint, decals, and even weathering. There’s no question that this should allow Gundam fans the best chance to have that ultimate mecha expression.
Once they’re done creating their own Gunpla, players have the choice to test it out in missions that are either online or offline. They can then defeat bosses or face off against waves of enemy mecha to obtain new parts and equip new skills.
Diorama Mode
In addition to missions, the game also has what’s known as Diorama Mode. In this one, players get to come up with their own elaborate scenarios through different backgrounds, environmental elements, and special effects. Once that’s done, they can then put the Gunpla that they made and then capture that perfect post.
