Jagex released Part II of Havenhythe for RuneScape. This is the largest-ever area expansion in the 25-year history of the game. This new content though is member-only. Those able to access it get the chance to explore four areas along with taking on a whimsical standalone Bangolin quest. They can also experience a climactic battle to defend Havenhythe from the Sanguine threat.
This new content continues to have the sense of epic world building that the game has and introduces new activities to further enhance multiple skills. This should be a haven for players who are questers, fighters, or even skillers.
Players need to remember though that if they want to explore everything Havenhythe Part II has to offer, they'll have to meet certain requirements like being a member. In addition, they'll need to complete the Secrets of Amberfell quest in order to unlock the finale. Other requirements include reaching 51 Crafting, 55 Herblore, 65 Mining, and 60 Smithing. Meanwhile, those who want to dig deep and undertake the new mining activity need to have reached 65 Mining and 51 Crafting.
Of course, there are the rewards with the highlight being the ultra-rare and best-in-slot hatchet. There are also Bogolin Pearls that players can use to gather and spend on local rewards and upgrades. Other rewards are the Chima Moss Spools for stackable bowstring resources along with a Bogolin Knife and Torch.
Talking about this new release, Lead Game Designer Bradley Hickey shared in a statement when Part I of Havenhythe was first released, it introduced a new region for players to explore along with offering a peek at the new threat, which is the Sanguine. He added that Part II "raises the stakes," especially for veteran adventurers.
