Head hunting returns to Conan Exiles Enhanced and is bigger than ever. Players need to choose a side, hunt sorcerers or players, and then bring their skulls or bodies to the Khitan bounty hunters or the Dogs of the Desert for faction rewards. This limited time event runs from August 18 to August 30.
For those not familiar with this event, how it works is that Sorcerer priests and Khitan bounty hunters spawn in any human camp. Players are given the chance to collect four skull types which are Magi, Sorcerer, Bounty Hunter, Bounty Hunter Leader. Then there's going to be 10 merchant locations per faction per map and currencies available being Ancient Obolus (Khitan) and Flesh Lucre (Dogs of the Desert).
Hunting Rules
When it comes to the hunt, players can join either the Khitan Bounty Hunters or Dogs of the Desert. It's possible to switch sides by paying a small currency fee at vendors. That said, the rules are:
- PVP: Hunt enemy faction players to climb the bounty board with the top bounty hunter at event end earning extra rewards.
- PVE: Complete commissions and kills to climb leaderboards with top players per faction getting extra currency and a selectable T4 thrall.
Rewards
Both factions get rerun rewards from previous events along with new and faction-locked items that include Epic armor/crafting sets themed around sorcery and craftsmanship. There's also going to be two legendary weapons. The Dogs of the Desert faction get a new arcane focused staff while the Khitan faction gets a legendary bow.
Other rewards include a new Dogs of the Desert faction armor as well as the flashy VFX placeables. There are also named followers, special armor and weapon fittings, and new decorative placeables per faction.
Conan Exiles Enhanced is an upgrade that moves Conan Exiles into Unreal Engine 5. It unifies eight years of post‑launch content while at the same time give the world of Conan a sweeping visual refresh. Changes include the sharply improved environments, character models, lighting, and effects. There's also the redesigned UI along with numerous QoL upgrades.
One of the key features of Conan Exiles Enhanced is that it allows players to freely travel between The Exiled Lands and The Isle of Siptah. This is because the two massive regions have been integrated and connected which resulted in eliminating the need to choose a map at character creation or start over to explore both. In addition, the multiplayer servers can host both regions simultaneously which should expand the playable space for communities that own the Siptah expansion.
