Developer makaroll is all set to release Phantom Rose 2 Sapphire. This skill-based roguelike deckbuilding game is the long-awaited sequel to Phantom Rose. The game has players fight and collect powerful cards as Aria as she tries to survive her school which is currently being ravaged by evil creatures. The game is now available on Steam and being offered at 10% discount for a limited period.

For those who are familiar with the previous title, there's still something to look forward to in this sequel. That's because Phantom Rose 2 Sapphire offers two playable classes which are the Blade class and the Mage class. Each of these classes comes with its own unique cards and mechanics. With this, players can experience the game in more ways than one.

Players can also experience the story and the game world through an adventure which offers increasing levels of difficulty, each posing a greater challenge compared to the previous one. There are also different modes available like the Arcade mode where players can rush through different bosses and earn attractive rewards. A Custom mode is also available where players can come up with their very own challenges.

In the game, players can craft their deck using cards obtained when they defeat Phantoms as they go on the adventure. There are more than 200 cards to collect for players to build their ideal deck. However, what makes this different compared to other deckbuilding games is that there are no random cards drawn during the battle. All players need to do is manage the cooldown of the cards to defeat enemies efficiently and swiftly.

It's not all fights since players can also discover other survivors as they go on their adventure. Just be sure to interact with these survivors and learn their stories. Players can then decide on their actions.
