Help J. Jonah Jameson Escape the Savage Lands in New Quest for Marvel Contest of Champions

A new update has been released for Marvel Contest of Champions. Update 54.1.0 launches new quests and new events.

The event quest "No Job, Freelance" sees J. Jonah Jameson missing the Big Apple and now lost in The Savage Lands. He'll need to find a way back home and to do it he has to call in a mystic debt. Speaking of J. Jonah Jameson, he joins the roster of Champions as the Spider-Slayer. Read more about it here.

There's also a side quest titled "Fractured Safari" where the Savage Lands is experiencing fractures and pain. It seems that after a run-in with Isophyne and the Eidol empowerment ceremony, the Savage Lands have been bombarded with raw ISO energy. The result of this unintended ISO-boost is that the Saga-Tagged Champions now have a Fractured Power Bar. This level of power control is a temporary and unpredictable bonus for the challenges that wait ahead.

Dimensional Arcade

Everyone is invited to the Concert of Champions. This new and rhythm-fighting mode has players get their groove on, rock out, and of course, beat up those bad guys. It features music-inspired stages, original tracks and some of the more musically-inclined Champions. Be sure to play this brand new experience before it’s too late.

Glitch Incursions

Ultron is facing a lot of problems and now a glitch is amongst them. The Problems started when Spider-Ham spotted Peter Parker beefing with a grumpy geezer in a mech-suit. Ham wanted a robot fight too and decided to drop into Ultron’s incursions and made a mess of it. The Glitch Incursions allow Summoners to choose from massive lists of nearly every buff to create absurd combinations of power as they face down Ultron and other foes.

Photogenic Foes Event

Going back to J. Jonah Jameson, he wants photos. It's not just any photos but photos of Champions. Players need to keep an eye out for special Objectives and rewards where they can earn while participating in other special Events this month like Fractured Safari and Glitch Incursions. Be sure to keep up with a special Realm Event to earn progression-tuned rewards such as a first appearance 7-star Rhino.

Double Track Event

Everyone’s favorite Mutant with a dragon-like friend is the newest Champion to be featured in a double track event. Obtain the Platinum Pass and complete daily challenges in the event in order to acquire up to a 7-Star Kitty Pryde.

Marvel Contest of Champions invites players to step into The Battlerealm and experience epic 1v1 combat. It features various Super Heroes and Villains from across the Marvel Universe. The game was first released on mobile platforms through iOS and Android. Then in June 2025, Marvel Contest of Championswas made available for PC and fully optimized for mouse, keyboard, and controller on the big screen.
