Here are Some of the New Features Coming to Tales of Berseria Remastered

A while back Bandai Namco announced that Tales of Berseria Remastered is releasing next year. This is an enhanced version of the beloved action RPG that was originally released back in August 2016. It levels up the title for current platforms and offers players the chance to experience an epic tale combined with new game play. Today we'll take a look at some of the interesting new features.

Players should be happy to know that they begin with 11200 GRADE and even have access to the Grade Shop from the first playthrough. There they can purchase the items they need. Still on the Grade Shop, the "Half-Price Shop Purchases" option has been added. With this, players can buy items at half price.

In addition, a “NEW!” icon now appears on the menu and shop category tabs when players newly acquire or learn items, artes, etc.. It’s also the same when new products arrive in the shop.

Map Features

The new version adds icons to the mini-map that include those for "Treasure Chests," "Katz Boxes," and "Herbs." There are also different icons added to indicate to players whether "Treasure Chests" and "Herbs" have been acquired or not.

Other Features

Here are the other new features to be introduced in this new version:

• default Movement Speed of characters are increased by 20%

• the objective automatically appears on the screen when it is updated as players progress through the game

• a "★" icon is now displayed on the field for main story destinations

• characters that trigger sub-episodes when spoken to now also display a "!" icon on the field

Tales of Berseria Remastered has players follow the journey of Velvet Crowe as she goes on a journey of vengeance and uncovers the mystery behind the murder her brother. They get to embark on a tale torn between emotion and reason. It's a story where Velvet and her comrades slash through everyone in their path and navigate through emotional bonds and betrayal.

Tales of Berseria Remastered is coming out on February 27, 2026. It's going to be available on different platforms that include PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.
