Here’s What Players Can Expect for the Closed Alpha Test of Nakwon: Last Paradise

The Closed Alpha Test for Nakwon: Last Paradise is all set to start on March 11. It’s going to offer an updated version of what was available in the Pre-Alpha Test.

New Weapons

The upcoming Closed Alpha Test gives those who participate the chance to try out new firearms. There are in particular the Revolver, Pistol and Double-Barrel Shotgun. are the latest additions to the firearm lineup. New melee weapons are also available that include the Firefighter Axe, Sledgehammer and One-Handed Axe. Players can check out the Round Riot Shield for protection.

Infected Types

Players can look forward to new special infected types. These were not available in the Pre-Alpha Test and this time there are six of them. These include the Runner, Screamer, Gatherer, Armored, Butcher and the Policeman. Each Special Infected comes with unique appearances and behavioral traits that need different tactical approaches. The traits reflect who they were before the infection and shapes both their appearance and combat behavior. However no matter what type they are, all infected are highly sensitive to loud noises and certain areas may attract large numbers of the infected.

Environment Settings

Gameplay is set to feature Daytime, Nighttime and Heavy Rain environmental settings. With this, the map now expands beyond its previously dark environment to include daytime and heavy rain conditions. It allows for new experiences like when there is heavy rain for example, it muffles sound and thus makes it hard for players and the infected to detect each other.

Housing Content

Players should be happy to know that they'll be able to place a wide range of furniture in their shelter to help their chances of survival. Meanwhile, upgrading the workbench allows them to craft more useful items. There are also refrigerators that can prolong the shelf life of consumables. Other housing items let players personalize their shelter to their liking. As players advance in Citizen Rank, their shelter is upgraded, offering more functional and accommodating living spaces.

Skill Tree

Finally, there is the newly added character level progression with players being able to earn trait points and increase their survivability through a variety of active and passive skills.
