Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is now in Early Access. This new title serves as the official prequel that hails back to the origins of the genre-defining and critically acclaimed series of turn-based strategy games.

The game was released on April 30 according to developer Unfrozen, and managed to sell more than 500,000 copies on Steam in less than 72 hours. This means that the time is now in the Steam top sellers chart next to games like Diablo IV and Windrose. In addition, the game has a "Very Positive" rating on more than 2,300 reviews. With this, the studio assured everyone that they'll "continue to work tirelessly" so that they can make sure that the legacy of this beloved series continues to be alive.

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is the newest entry in the renowned Heroes of Might and Magic series. It brings back strategic empire building, epic turn-based tactical battles, and in-depth RPG mechanics as it introduces players to a world of fantastical beasts, formidable spellcasters, and fierce champions.
