Hinagiku Akiba Joins the Roster of Tribe Nine

A new update has been released for Tribe Nine which sees the debut of Hinagiku Akiba. She'll be introduced through the limited-time Event Synchro: Maid for You.

Hinagiku Akiba is a ★3 playable character who's most distinctive mechanic is her "Charged Attack." This one can be activated by simply pressing and then holding her Primary Attack. It has both offensive and defensive capabilities. That's because while Hinagiku is in this state and then attacked by an enemy, it automatically triggers a Deflect Counterattack.

New Tension Card

In addition to a new playable character, the new update also adds the ★3 Tension Card "Professional Maid." This one is available via the Event Synchro: Tension Card Lovely Impact. The card increases Primary Attack damage following a successful Deflect Counterattack. This makes it perfectly compatible with Hinagiku Akiba's unique ability to perform Deflect Counterattacks and thus maximize her combat potential.

The update also means that the Main Story Chapter 3 is now live. Don’t forget to check out the other changes brought by Update Ver1.1.0.

Tribe Nine is set in 20XX at the vibrant metropolis of Neo Tokyo. It's a city where freedom and dreams are at stake and have surrendered to the rule of deadly games. The game puts focus on groups of brave teenagers challenging their fate as they're locked in uncompromising life-or-death struggles to reclaim what they have lost.

As players navigate through Neo Tokyo, they're charged with dismantling their enemies and liberating the city. Players control a party of three characters, all of which engage in combat simultaneously, with companions responding dynamically to battle scenarios, setting traps and recharging their teammates’ vitality. When aligned correctly, the trio can even catapult a devastating combo attack.

In addition to combat, players also need to finish hordes of tasks that include, but not limited to, item scavenging, puzzle-solving, and catering to requests from city residents. By doing so, Tribe Nine is able to successfully combine role-playing and exploration and provide a rich gaming experience.
