The latest patch for Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is finally here. Judgment of the Excalibur is huge and introduces a lot of new content to the game. In fact, it improves the game on almost each single layer. According to the Questline team, this patch was six months in the making with the goal of ensuring that the game offers everyone an awesome experience.

Enjoy New Content

What can players expect with this new patch? For starters, new content have been added in the Horns of the South. Keep an eye out for the likes of travelling merchants, Red Priest representative, or even the hidden garden of the druids. There's pretty much new areas and dungeons, plus new items, for players to discover. Don't forget the new loot.

Players should also be happy to know that fishing is now possible in the game. When it comes to combat, dual wielding has been added. Players can use two one-handed weapons for example or even two spells and possibly two shields. Bringing all of these new experiences to a whole new level are the amazing tracks by Danheim, which has been added to the game.

Experience the Technical Improvements

The team also revealed that they've also worked on the game's technological backend. As a result, the game now looks better and even has better terrain. There are also more NPCs and the AI improvements optimization should be clear. Depending on the exact PC specs, players can expect about 30% to 40% improvement on the performance. It also goes without saying that considering the size of this latest patch, the team was able to fix a lot of the bugs detected during Early Access. They do give a caveat that not all bugs may have been resolved.

Like with most game patches, this one also makes changes to ensure that the game balance remains good. In addition to items added, there were those upgraded, and some were even nerfed. The goal apparently was to increase the number of different playstyles for everyone to enjoy.
