What do you get when you combine a love story with ferocious fights? Get ready for the upcoming visual novel that is Kiss or Kill. It offers the emotional tension of romance reality TV and combines it with the deadly pressure of a survival game.
The game has players take on the role of a programmer working at SIG Corporation. They suddenly find themselves trapped inside a dating reality show simulation that's controlled by AI. There are a total of 200 participants who are divided into groups. Each team has one woman and three men. They are then put in a seven-day dating experiment that they have to survive.
During the day, the contestants need to complete dangerous "romance missions." They have to maintain their Heartbeat Scores and relationships. If their scores drop to a certain point, they are then publicly executed. However, when night arrives, players are given a limited amount of time to learn more about the truth behind the simulation.
As the experiment progresses, it is when the trust starts to collapse. There are participants that fall in love. Meanwhile, there are also those who manipulate, betray, or even sacrifice others just to survive.
Meet the Cast
Kiss or Kill features six romanceable characters. There are three male characters, two female characters, and one hidden route.
One of the female contestants is Chloe Chase. She is sweet-looking though ill-tempered. Prior to joining the show, she was a popular streamer. Then there's Gracie Zane, a serious and composed corporate executive.
For the male characters, the first is Rowan Castell. She is a junior of the players back in school and currently serves as the capable subordinate in the same SIG project team. He has a faintly dark side to his personality though has never made a mistake at work. Second is Lux Lee. He's a distant and hard-to-read man though judging by his attire, it appears that he may work in an art-related field. There is the possibility that they share interest with the players, particularly the manga How to Make a Magic Cannon. Third is Kaid Summers. This young and promising musical actor is popular not only for his looks but also professional skills. However he's not only shy but may even be inexperienced.
