Playground Games released a new trailer for Fable. It offers a peek at an important new character who is the Hero of Wraithmarsh Isabel.
Isabel is a Hero who is haunted by a troubled past. This same has driven her to the darkest of places as she searches for the solution to Albion’s problems. In Isabel’s uncompromising view, Albion doesn’t really need "Heroes" and it only needs her. However, Isabel isn't the only dark force Heroes need to contend with when they enter Albion. Taking on the role of Isabel is none other than Hayley Atwell.
In addition to Isabel, the trailer also offers a first look at The Jack of Blades, one of the most iconic characters of the series. Watch the new trailer for Fable here.
Pre-order of the game is now open. Players can choose between the Standard Edition and the Premium Edition. There’s also a bonus for those who pre-order the game.
Fable hasplayers take on the role of the first Hero in a generation. They get to explore a living Albion that's filled with peculiar characters, dark humor, and chickens, lots of them.
Players can customize the appearance of their Hero. When it comes to fighting, they can wield powerful weapons whether they're in melee, ranged, or magical combat. Enemies include bandits, beasts, and creatures. This upcoming version also introduces new ones while at the same time sees the return of fan favorites. It's important to remember that power grows along with reputation.
It’s not all combat as the game invites players to a living world where they get to carve their own identity. For example, they can choose to be filthy rich either as a blacksmith or a landlord. There’s even the option to romance a villager and have a bunch of kids.
For the PC version, the studio revealed that the game is able to release the power and flexibility of the PC platform through high uncapped framerates. Players can experience 4K visuals that’s supported by NVIDIA DLSS, and AMD FSR. For the PC, players can now wishlist Fable on Steam.
