Lost Colony for ARK: Survival Ascended is Now Available

Studio Wildcard announced that Lost Colony has arrived for ARK: Survival Ascended. It starts what could be described as the darkest chapter of the game. It's available for $29.99.

The new expansion takes players to Arat Prime, which is the home of the ARKs and has become a war-torn and frozen wasteland. This is the game's first full expansion and features an epic cinematic storyline that stars Michelle Yeoh as Mei Yin and brought to life by anime legends MAPPA.

As players follow the journey of Mei Yin into the shadows of a broken city, they get to uncover new powers and forge "Cursed" gear. They also get to unlock an entirely new Lost Skill Tree which lets players customize their Survivor like never before with unique paths focused on taming, exploring, or survival.

While all of these are indeed exciting, it goes without saying that the frozen wastes of Arat Prime are not devoid of intelligent life. That's because the city is now a war-torn battleground between twisted Element-powered "factions" seeking to undo what was accomplished at the end of ARK Extinction. Together with generations of heroes, players unite the past and the future of ARK.
