The second part of the Stargazer summer update for MapleStory is here and brings with it Dave The Diver. It features immersive mini-games along with exclusive event systems. The MapleStory x Dave The Diver collaboration delivers a fully integrated and rewarding experience for players of both games.
Save the Diver
Save the Diver has Dave, Cobra, and Bancho asking for help after being stranded by a sudden storm. The chaptered story missions have players obtain additional upgrade unlocks for Bancho Sushi as well as more diverse critters under the sea to hunt. There’s also a wealth of Diver Tokens that can be used to upgrade diving gear or buy cosmetics or character growth related items.
Blue Hole Exploration
Blue Hole Exploration is inspired by the iconic location from Dave The Diver. It’s an interaction event where players have to suit up and explore the Blue Hole. Gameplay closely mirrors the game that includes fishing mechanics and system upgrades. Missions from Save the Diver enhance this experience which unlock new interactions and rewards.
Bancho Sushi
After catching fish in the Blue Hole, players need to head over to Bancho Sushi to fulfill orders and serve patrons. This phase recreates the restaurant gameplay from Dave The Diver and lets players prepare sushi and manage the bar while tying into the Blue Hole exploration.
Blue Hole Codex
Each fish caught in the Blue Hole adds a new entry to the Creature Encyclopedia. Completing entries rewards players with exclusive Dave The Diver cosmetics and additional completion bonuses.
The event rewards and progression end on August 26. However, players on MapleStory can continue to enjoy Dave The Diver mini-games until September 23.
The Ride or Die Journey Returns
The update for MapleStory sees Kazax continue his devious plans. Players now have to help the new Inspector Libae and defeat Kazax’s new threats. They’ll have to challenge the brand-new difficulty Code X while facing the Trials. In return can earn a myriad of exclusive rewards and bonuses.
HEXA Mastery Node Completion
The same update also introduces the 3rd and 4th HEXA Mastery Nodes. Once they complete the Mastery Nodes, players can enjoy a significant boost to 6th job characters. Each class can experience shifts in dynamics and increased flexibility in skill enhancement and choices with the newly added nodes.
