Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered is now available worldwide. This remastered version of the fan-favorite puts players between the warring factions of Earth and the Space Colonies. They get to relive the legendary battles not only from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED but also Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.
The original game was first released through the PlayStation Vita. This remaster is the first time that the game is being officially released in the west. It's available for the PC via Steam and the Nintendo Switch.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered has players take on the role of a Mobile Suit pilot. It's set in a time which is the aftermath of the Bloody Valentine tragedy. This is a powder keg moment that exploded into full-fledged armed conflict.
Players can choose to fight alongside with the three different factions which are the Earth Alliance Forces, Z.A.F.T or Archangel. They get to relive the story across missions based on iconic moments from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It even has side stories like Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: STARGAZER.
There are more than a hundred different Mobile Suits available for players to pilot as they engage in thrilling and action-packed Gundam battles in the world of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
New Improvements
The remaster version also comes with a lot of enhancements. There's the save system which has been reworked to make replays easier. Meanwhile, the difficulty has been adjusted to allow for easier conditions in obtaining Mobile Suits. Added as well are the new lock-on modes and controller settings for smoother gameplay.
Mission Types
One feature of the game is the "Story Missions." This allows players to relive those legendary moments from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. They get to choose their faction from Earth Alliance Forces, ZAFT, or the Archangel, and complete missions alongside familiar pilots and Mobile Suits from the series.
There are also other missions like "Extra Missions" that have no faction or period restrictions. Players can choose to pair their favorite characters with the unit of their choice. Meanwhile in "VS Missions" allow players to improve themselves in different scenarios against enemies controlled by the computer.
