Ilmfinity Studios announced that its tactical monster-catching RPG EvoCreo 2 is now available on Steam. It's being offered for $19.99.
The game is set in the continent of Shoru where mysterious creatures known as Creo are vanishing without a trace. Players take on the role of a new cadet at the local academy and embark on a journey to learn more about the truth of the situation and bring them back.
There are more than 300 species of Creo that they have to capture, raise, and evolve. These include rare color variants said to be hiding in the wild. They then assemble a battle-ready team and set off on a grand adventure that's filled with ancient secrets, shadowy organizations, and fierce Evoker rivals.
When it comes to the combat mechanics, the game offers a system where players need to combine various features like elemental types, traits, abilities, status effects, and move cooldowns. There's over 100 Creo traits, 200+ learnable moves, and a wide range of items that can be equipped by players. They’ll also need to build their own strategy to win any battle.
EvoCreo 2 has players explore the hidden secrets of Shoru that are around the various beautiful pixel-art biomes. These include the likes of bustling cities to lava-filled caverns, and even the cloudy skies above. The game offers more than 30 hours of offline gameplay.
In a statement, Ilmfinity Founder Ebrahim Behbahani revealed that they've managed to evolve the battle system of EvoCreo 2 so that it offers more opportunities to synergize traits, utilize items, and release devastating abilities. He went on to say that players can eventually test their strategies against other players worldwide in online battles. This is planned to come out within the year as part of an upcoming major update.

As part of the game's release, the studio is offering two bundles. The first is the EvoCreo Game Pack bundle which offers access to two worlds and hundreds of Creo. It brings together both entries in the beloved monster-capture RPG series. Aside from EvoCreo 2, it also has EvoCreo which brings with it 20+ hours of story, 170+ Creo, and the world of Zenith.
The second is the EvoCreo Complete bundle. It has both titles much like the previous bundle. However, it also has the EvoCreo Costume Pack that's sure to add that unique flair to the journey. What makes this bundle truly worth it is that it includes all future EvoCreo DLC.
