Monster Hunter Wilds Arriving in Final Fantasy XIV in Early October

Attention players! It’s time to prepare for a unique experience as a hunt arrives in Final Fantasy XIV Online. That’s because Monster Hunter Wilds content is arriving in early October 2025.

Before the hunt arrives, players need to prepare for the unknown threat. They'll need to be at least level 100 and complete the main scenario question "Dawntrail."

For those who haven't played Fantasy XIV Online, that means there's still time. In addition, those new to the game receive experience point bonus up to a certain level by creating characters on Preferred or Preferred+ Worlds. To start playing from the latest expansion, Dawntrail, players may purchase a Tales of Adventure optional item.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the newest addition to the Monster Hunter series. It's set in a dynamically changing world where there could be a rich natural environment teeming with life and transforms to that of a severe wilderness and swarming with packs of attacking monsters.

The game features grand and beautiful visual depictions that's made possible by the RE ENGINE, which is Capcom’s very own proprietary game development engine. The game was released on February 28 and made available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It may have been released on different platforms but with crossplay, players can enjoy the game together. For the PC, Monster Hunter Wilds is available via Steam.
