Mounts in The Elder Scrolls Online Can Now be Purchased Using Gold

Update 49 for The Elder Scrolls Online has finally arrived. It features a massive collection of Player Experience improvements made possible by a dedicated team. The changes mainly focus on player-requested quality-of-life additions.

One interesting improvement is that players can now obtain Mounts using gold. There were 16 mounts that were only available for Crowns but can now be purchased using gold at some of the Stablemasters in Tamriel

However, there's going to be one special Stablemaster selling a brand-new and never-before-seen mount for gold. For those wondering, it’s the Ebon Dwarven Horse and can be found somewhere in Clockwork City.

In addition, each Stablemaster has their new mounts visible nearby. This means players won't need to go into the menu to see what’s on offer. That said, here are the mounts available for purchase using gold:

  • Highland Spotted Lynx/ Summerset & Craglorn
  • Ja'zennji Siir Fox/ Auridon & Blackwood
  • Noble Riverhold Senche-Lion/ Greenshade & Rivenspire
  • Faunfrolic Great Elk/ Grahtwood, Malabal Tor, & High Isle
  • Senche-Cougar/ Reaper's March
  • Spotted Duneracer Senche-raht/ Northern & Southern Elsweyr
  • Shadowghost Guar/ Murkmire, Shadowfen, & Stonefalls
  • Frostborn Durzog Mangler/ Solstice, Coldharbour, & Fargrave
  • Hearthfire Kagouti/ Deshaan
  • Rubyflare Torchnix / Telvanni Peninsula & Vvardenfell
  • Yorgrim River Ram/ The Rift, Eastmarch, & Stormhaven
  • Ashbone Sabre Cat/ Western Skyrim & Bangkorai
  • Snow Bear/ The Reach & Wrothgar
  • Bleakrock Snowdog/ Glenumbra & Galen
  • Hammerfell Camel/ Alik'r & Hews Bane
  • Sapiarchic Senche-Serval/ Gold Coast & West Weald

Still on Stablemasters, when players train with one and upon choosing Carry Capacity, Stamina, or Speed, they'll now receive three upgrades instead of the previous one. Crown Riding Lessons though only provide a single upgrade.
