Developer Trialforge Studio and publisher Tate Multimedia have released a combat teaser trailer for Deathbound. This upcoming title is an action RPG that's set in a world where Science and Faith are at odds with each other. It has players absorb the essence of fallen warriors and then make use of their abilities and powers. It's a game where one has to survive in a brutal reality.

Set in a callous world where there are unrelenting creatures to fight against, the game needs players to have a unique approach especially if they want to survive. One feature is the Binding System which let players absorb the essence of fallen warriors that they encounter on their journey. In addition, through these essences, players can combine unique personalities and combat styles. It even allows them to switch between the two rather seamlessly.
Going back to the essence from enemies absorbed, it can then be released through what’s known as Morphstrikes. Players can use make use of those different attack styles and release those powerful combinations and finishing blows to beat all those against you.
A Brutal World
The game is set in the world of Ziêminal, home to diverse cultures. It’s where a technological past is mixed with a medieval present. In this world lies the city of Akratya which is home to both lore and dangers. Players get to explore this city that’s falling into ruin under the shadow of a grand crusade. There’s a lot to look forward to in this city from the body-filled streets to the arenas and even places of worship.
Face the Monsters
Deathbound has players fight against enemies that’s sure to push them to their limits. The nature of these monsters is based on the five stages of grief and each new encounter grabs the attention of any soul who dares face them.
