New Gameplay Trailer for Echoes of Aincrad Released

Bandai Namco Entertainment America released a new trailer for Echoes of Aincrad. It gives players a deeper look into what the game has to offer.

In particular, the new trailer shows everyone the heart of the adventure where players take part in intense real-time combat that come with meaningful progression within the deadly floors of the flying castle of Aincrad. As the adventure unfolds, each new level gives players growth points that they can use and increase attributes in the classic RPG style. They can extend their stamina, strength, dexterity and more, all to fit their playstyle.

In addition to their own capabilities, there's also a wide range of Special Skills. Players can choose between a variety of armor pieces and weapons. Visiting the smithy to enhance their armor is something that's important to get stronger and defeat bigger enemies.

Echoes of Aincrad is an action RPG that's set in the Sword Art Online universe where players risk their lives in every battle. While this isn't the first game that's set in the SAO universe, it is the first in the series to have players take on the role of a hero that they create. In addition, they get to dive into an epic new story while at the same time experience intense action where players face life-or-death challenges.

Echoes of Aincrad invites everyone into a dynamic and vibrant world that's filled with challenges and unforgettable encounters. It embraces the meta behind the IP which is where players enter a virtual world and experience a life-of-death adventure themselves. The game features fast-paced RPG action combined with real-time combat. Players can match their preferred playstyle by adapting and upgrading their equipment, weapons, attributes, and even special skills. With this, they’ll later be able to level up and with it, face even greater challenges.

The journey may be difficult but the good news is that they won’t be doing it alone. That’s because victories in combat rely on their chosen NPC partner, each one having different skills and abilities which can be customized. As the bond with their partner deepens, players get to unlock new skills and more powerful abilities.

Echoes of Eincrad is releasing July 10. Preorders are now available PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
