A new season is dropping in Torchlight: Infinite this April 6. One of the new features to be introduced is a new seasonal mechanic. Lunaria brings with it what can be described as a new farming loop to the game.
Once the new season goes live, players should notice Lunar Stone Statues appearing all across NetherRealm. They can be woken up by Lunar Ring-wielding players looking to take on Lunari creatures. Once defeated, these creatures drop loot and energy which can be used to awaken other Lunar Stone Statues.
There's also going to be randomly triggered Lunar Omens and Rhapsodies which can greatly affect these encounters. For example, Lunar Radiance sees a golden statue pop up on the map that, when awoken, sees the release of a monster that drops substantially greater loot when defeated. Meanwhile, Moonlit Revival transforms all Lunari creatures back into statues. There is also one where the Lunar Harp no longer consumes energy if the Moonrise rhapsody is activated.
A New Hero
The new season also sees the addition of a new hero. Get ready to meet the Scent Weaver Sage, an elixir-based healer who adjusts her recipes mid-fight.
The Scent Weaver Sage has the ability to add rare defensive stats, like Injury Buffer or Convert Physical Damage to Random Elemental Damage, to her elixirs. It's important to remember that these two affixes don’t often appear on gear. Anyway, players can also set up their Sage so that critical strikes, reaping, and movement automatically generate elixir charges.
Sage has two paths that players can specialize in. The Scholar route maxes life and mana with players being able to convert base stats in amplified elixir effects. The Mad Scientist route meanwhile lets players carry an extra offensive flask.

Torchlight: Infinite is the fourth title in the Torchlight series. This action role-playing game draws from the lore and high-fantasy setting of previous Torchlight games. It features a more apocalyptic world and unifies its dungeon levels with relatively rigid quest lines. Torchlight: Infinite is available on Steam.
