A new season is now live in Arena Breakout: Infinite. It introduces a lot of new content and these include two new modes.
Hostile Sector
One of the new modes is Hostile Sector. In this one, operators face extreme weather that include blizzards, heavy fog, and even dark nights. However, they do get access to four Elite types which are breachers, snipers, grenadiers, and fumigators. Anyway, what makes this one different to regular Tactical Ops, the local Militants are significantly stronger with the number of real players being greatly reduced.
The goal of the mode is to encourage cooperation while at the same time share map earnings between teams. According to the development team, it should make PvP combat less stressful. How it works is that teams won't be able to attach each other in the Farm and Northridge. However, the TV Station continues to offer team-versus-team combat, though teams can still flexibly cooperate and negotiate to progress together.
When it comes to loot yields, the Farm is the same as Lockdown Zones, Northridge is higher than Lockdown Zones, and the TV Station is the same as Forbidden Zones.
Supplies Drops
The other new mode is called Supplies Drops. This is a more relaxed and fun team mode that's all about cooperation and mutual benefit. How it works is that operators need to loot resources on the map and then put them into their Personal Crate and the Squad Crate. Once the raid ends, the supplies in the Team Supply Crate are then split equally among team members. Because of this, it means that operators don't need to gear themselves up. All they need to do is choose a system loadout once they enter the raid and then begin playing. What makes things interesting is that when players are eliminated in Supplies Drops, they can respawn and rejoin the battle after a set time. In addition, there are unlimited respawns.
Supplies Drops maintains multi-squad competition while lowering the cost and mental pressure of gearing up. The unlimited respawn mechanic meanwhile greatly reduces death penalties, and in most cases, the earnings are quite significant.
