EXODUS follows Jun, some who comes from humble beginnings but actually carries the legacy of a revered Traveler dynasty. Hiding under his unassuming origins lies a genetic heritage that gives extraordinary powers and abilities unlike any other human.
Players get to shape Jun’s destiny through moral choices and conflicting agendas that echo across generations. They determine who Jun ultimately becomes through their actions and choices, as the fate of their home planet, and beyond, lies in the balance.
EXODUS offers players freedom when it comes to gameplay style. This allows them to approach challenges through stealth or open combat. Both paths are designed to be equally rewarding and thus empower players to customize their experience. As the story unfolds, players can unlock new weapons and abilities, form bonds with companions, and discover combat synergies that deepen both the gameplay and the storytelling.
The good news is that Jun won’t be going on the journey alone. Across EXODUS, players meet companions with unique motivations and secrets. These relationships are integral to the experience, bringing new lore, side stories, and quests that enrich the vast narrative universe.
An Extra Look
The trailer wasn’t all about Jun. That’s because it also gives everyone another look at C.C. Orlev. This enigmatic figure has a presence which seems to guide Jun at crucial moments. While everyone has heard of Orlev, only a few know who he truly is. Bring Orlev to life is none other than Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey, who makes his first-ever appearance in a video game.
