Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Revelation. The game is the third and final entry in the epic and critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake Series.
The new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Revelation gives us a peek at the enormous guardians known as Weapons. These emerged to defend a world in crisis. However, the problem is that these same Weapons make no distinction when it comes to friend and foe. As a result, they wreak catastrophic destruction upon the planet and its people. Then on the desert sands, we see Cloud and the other heroes stand against the colossal Weapons even as they toil to save the world from Sephiroth.
Weapons were first introduced in the original Final Fantasy VII as a late-game element. In this upcoming title, they return in reimagined glory as standout battles. In fact, some of them appear in ultra-challenging endgame battles as an homage to their original forms. The same trailer also gives us a look at the powerful new Summon Typhon along with open-world exploration via parachute, grappling hook and Chocobo mounts. There's also Cloud and Tifa in their Warrior and Black Mage FITS.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation sees Cloud Strife and his loyal companions face a world that is teetering on the brink of annihilation. As they grieve a beloved ally, their nemesis Sephiroth nears godhood. The party now takes to the skies aboard the airship Highwind in a race against time to stop Meteor, which is the ultimate destructive magic. Overall, Final Fantasy VII Revelation offers an unforgettable and breathtaking finale to one of the most ambitious projects in video game history and the culmination of 30 years of Final Fantasy VII storytelling.
Before the game launches, both fans and those new to the series can catch up to the story with Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Both titles are available for the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation arrives in Spring 2027 and is available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2. For the PC, the game is being released for the Epic Games Store and Steam.
