New Trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy Features New Companion

Owlcat Games released a new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy which features a new companion. Get ready to meet Haymar Devos, a native of Catachan.

Catachan has long been considered as one of the most lethal Death Worlds in the Imperium of Mankind. To survive, you'll need to have toughness, cunning, and even eyes at the back of your head. Haymar, who hails from this world, is a former elite member of the Astra Militarum. What that means is he possesses the qualities mentioned in spades. It's not surprising especially for someone who grew up in a world where not only the flora and fauna, but even the soil and air, can kill you. This allowed Haymar to be a fearless survivor while at the same time become a ruthless killer. As part of the elite Catachan Devils unit of the Astra Militarum, he was able to hone his skills even further.

After that, he became a member of the Golden Throne in the Calixis Sector. Later, events brought him into the ranks of the Inquisition. His combat expertise has repeatedly saved his warband in even the most perilous situations. In addition, his loyalty to both his comrades and Humanity is beyond question.

As dark clouds gather over Calixis and the sector’s capital faces imminent peril, Haymar Devos doesn’t feel doubt nor fear. That’s because he knows what he is destined for and is not afraid to see it through to the end.

Overall, Haymar is a lethal soldier who excels in ranged combat as well as close quarters fighting. He has an outstanding awareness when it comes to his surroundings and knowledge of all things deadly. This comes in handy for both exploring the environments of Scintilla and analyzing evidence from Inquisition cases.
