It looks like we're getting more information on what to expect for Elden Ring Nightreign. This time we're getting a peek at the first four characters of the game. That's not all since a trailer is available for each one.
The characters are:
- Recluse - Ancient powers, gifted by none, claimed from all. Those who dwell in the shadows shall meet their reckoning in her arcane blood. Watch the video here.
- Ironeye - Swift and unwavering, let your arrows bring death. May your aim be true, and cut through the darkness. Watch the video here.
- Raider - Stand resolute in the chaos of battle. A heart that knows no fear shall carve a path through the Night's tide. Watch the video here.
- Duchess - A blade, unrelenting and unseen, hidden in the night. The Duchess’ foes are vanquished in the flick of a second hand, their fate unraveled in its echo. Watch the video here.
Elden Ring Nightreign is a standalone multiplayer co-op action survival game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It invites players in PVE combat against a harsh and unforgiving world. They'll have to team up in squads of three or those who think they have what it takes can try to go at it solo. Players get to choose from one of eight Nightfarers, each one having different abilities, and try to outlast a three day-and-night cycle.
In Elden Ring Nightreign, players need to make split-second decisions about combat and exploration across a map that can fluctuate with different biomes, weapons, and enemies in order to become stronger. They also have to outrun the encroaching circle of fire to be able to take on terrifying bosses at the end of each day. All of the action culminates on the third day, where if players were successful in surviving the night, they now need to fight against one of the Nightlords, new bosses introduced for this version.
Nightfarers need to learn to cooperate to take down these challenges and combine their unique abilities together for an unparalleled experience in the Elden Ring universe. Take note that all is not lost for those who fall in defeat. That's because unsuccessful runs give players relics to allow them to customize and upgrade their characters tailored to their personal play styles.
Elden Ring Nightreign is launching May 30 and to be available for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S.
