Netmarble released a new video for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. It showcases three classes, all of which have been inspired by the Game of Thrones series.
What makes the game truly exciting is that it's able to recreate not only the unique combat mechanics of each class but also their skills. This should enhance the enjoyment and depth of the class-based strategic combat. In addition, players can also take part in battles that align with their preferred class and combat style.
The Knight class is all about the refined and balanced swordplay of a Westerosi knight. This class uses a longsword to dispatch enemies through precise and calculated swordsmanship. Then there's the Sellsword class. It's inspired by the raw and destructive combat of Wildlings and Dothraki. This class features a brutal fighting style which uses massive two-handed axes to crush enemies.
Finally, there's the Assassin class. They employ agile and precise attacks that bring to mind those of the enigmatic Faceless Men. The class displays a fierce fighting style that makes use of dual daggers in dexterous and dance-like combat.

A Familiar World
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad invites players to explore the seven kingdoms that make up Westeros. They get to learn more about the vivid landscapes, massive cities, backwater towns, untamed wilderness, and even the people that inhabit them.
Players can also roam on the different iconic regions and locations. They can watch the splendor that is King’s Landing and observe the frigid unease of Castle Black.
New Storylines
A lot of people are familiar with the lore of Game of Thrones. However, the game offers something new for everyone. PLayers in particular get to forge their own legacy as they take on the role of an illegitimate child from a small noble house in the North which is House Tyre. The death of their brother combined with the looming threat of winter has players go on a mission to bring their house to its former glory.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is planned to be released in the second quarter of 2025. Wishlist the game on Steam now.
