Nighthaven Arriving to New World: Aeternum on October 13

Amazon Games announced that Season 10 arrives in New World: Aeternum on October 13. The Nighthaven update has players explore a realm that's been hidden from Aeternum for generations. They get the chance to uncover the fate of the Tear of Gaea as they navigate treacherous alliances and face threats born from darkness itself.

The Tear of Gaea

When the new season goes live, players are treated to a new story. It's set after the events of Elysian Wilds. Morgaine had left with the Tear of Gaea to sequester it somewhere safe and ensure that it is hidden away from ambitious intent. However, that journey was met with ill fortune resulting in the Tear going missing. She's now asking for help from the Soulwarden to try and recover the Tear and keep the world safe from whatever nefarious intent may be planned for it.

In this new adventure, players get to travel within the newly discovered land of Nighthaven. They engage the enigmatic and mysterious figures that call it home as they search for the divine artifact. They'll need to search across the ageless ruins and the facades of opulence as they work to uncover the truth of what is happening in this isolated and reclusive land. They'll have to be wary since trust is a commodity in short supply throughout Nighthaven.

It goes without saying that the new season invites players to a new zone. Nighthaven is an ancient land that’s rich with history. It was largely cut off from the rest of Aeternum for lifetimes under the direction of its powerful king. Those able to visit the land tell stories of mysterious figures. The inhabitants can either be charming and welcoming or vicious and fearsome. It depends on how they view those that they interact with. They rule at the behest of their king and carve out pieces of the land that they oversee on his behalf.

Nighthaven is a land shrouded in mystery and one where the dark holds sway over the light. Power lies deep in the catacombs and ruins of this land to those who are bold and brave enough to venture there.
