Square Enix announced that Octopath Traveler 0 is now available. It's the newest entry in the Octopath Traveler series and invites everyone to experience a story of restoration and retribution over the divine rings. The game offers an epic saga that unfolds across the realm of Orsterra.
The game serves as the prequel to Octopath Traveler as well as a console adaptation of Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. The game is being released for the PC via Windows and Steam. It's also launched for consoles that include PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.
Over on Steam, Octopath Traveler 0 is priced at $49.99. There's also a Digital Deluxe Edition offered at $59.99. It has the digital art book and Deluxe Travel Provisions. The latter comes with three Action Skills and eight types of nuts. There's also some Town Decorations.
Prologue Demo
For those who are not sure if the game is for now, there's good news. That's because a free demo is still available. Here players can create their own character and play for three hours. While travelling beyond the starting areas is restricted, players can still explore those corners of Orsterra as they wish. Any saved game are carried to the full game.
To play the demo, or even the game itself, the minimum requirements for the PC are:

Familiar & New Features
In Octopath Traveler 0, players can enjoy familiar features like the HD-2D graphics of the series. Then there's the mix of 3DCG and retro pixel art. That's not all since the game gives players the ability to roleplay with Path Actions of their choice. Meanwhile, the Break and Boost system is something that can turn the tide of battle. There are also new features available like the character creation and town building.
