Capcom announced that Onimusha: Way of the Sword is coming out on Steam this September 25. The game focuses on an Oni Gauntlet-wielding samurai who makes a stand against the encroaching Genma menace. It has players explore the historic Japanese capital of Edo-period Kyoto though twisted by malevolent clouds of Malice.
A demo of Onimusha: Way of the Sword is now available on Steam. This allows those interested to try an early portion of the game. Those who hold on to their save data from the demo can claim a Kubi Akari charm for use in the full game. However, players won't be able to continue the game using the save data in the demo.
Special Edition
Pre-purchase of the game is now available with the Standard Edition offered at $69.99. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition is priced at $79.99 and comes with the base game along with the Deluxe Kit. The kit contains various items which can be used to change the appearance of the main character along with charms that can be equipped. These include:
