Pavitr Prabhakar Ready to Swing His Way to Marvel Contest of Champions

Marvel Contest of Champions is preparing for the arrival of Pavitr Prabhakar. Hailing from the city of Mumbattan, he'll swing his way to the game on December 18.

Pavitr Prabhakar assumed the mantle of Spider-Man after being given magical spider powers by a shaman. Guiding him on this heroic life are the moral lessons of his Aunt Maya and late Uncle Bhim. As a result of his model heroics, it led to him being inducted into the Spider-Society. However, when the villain Spot invaded his city and caused a disaster, Pavitr gets a painful look at the darker sides of his new life. He now looks for a better way forward for the multiverse.

Pavitr Prabhakar becomes involved while investigating strange multiversal tech and trespassers. He now looks to The Summoner to lend a hand.

Something Sinister Comes

Before players get treated to the delight that is Pavitr Prabhakar, something sinister is making his way to Marvel Contest of Champions. Entering The Contest on November 13 is renowned scientist and human-reptile hybrid Dr. Curtis Connors, also known as Lizard.

Dr. Curtis Connors is a renowned scientist and field surgeon who tragically lost an arm during his service. After returning to civilian life, he devoted himself to finding a way to regenerate lost limbs. This resulted in him developing a serum based on reptilian DNA and made the decision to use himself as the first test subject. While the serum did work, it also mutated his DNA and turned himself into a human-reptile hybrid known as the Lizard.

The Lizard stumbles into The Battlerealm after years of trying to avoid this multiversal fate.

Marvel Contest of Champions invites players to step into The Battlerealm and experience epic 1v1 combat. It features various Super Heroes and Villains from across the Marvel Universe. The game was first released on mobile platforms through iOS and Android. Then in June 2025 it was made available for PC and fully optimized for mouse, keyboard, and controller on the big screen.

In Marvel Contest of Champions, players get to take on the role of a Summoner chosen by The Collector. They assemble a powerful team from a roster of more than 300 Champions. Players can engage in fast-paced battles against enemies and players from around the world. They'll have to master intuitive combat mechanics and release special attacks as they fight across cinematic storylines, competitive arenas, and time-limited events.
