Perfect Hand of Nostalpix Coming to the Nintendo Switch this April

Perennial Hearts announced that Perfect Hand of Nostalpix is launching on the Nintendo Switch this April 3. In addition to the base game, this version is also set to feature new content which is the Divine Birds Expansion. The expansion introduces new mechanics, challenges, and even new divine bird cards. It basically enhances the deck-building and strategy gameplay that players love.

Perfect Hand of Nostalpix serves as a prequel to Card Nova Hyper. This upcoming title is also from Perennial Hearts and currently in development. However, it has been delayed from its original 2024 release with the studio stating in a statement that this is the best way to make sure that the game has "the best possible experience for players."

A Remastered Version

Released in August 2024, Perfect Hand of Nostalpix is a remaster of the 1989 digital card game classic. The game invites players to defeat enemies with a deck they've tweaked to perfection by collecting, upgrading, and evolving each card. It's pretty much a blast from the past but enhanced with new mechanics.

The game is set in the same universe as the upcoming title Card Nova Hyper. All players need to do is build the best possible deck across the cards in the game. They can pick their monsters while paying attention to their runes. Players have to find the best objects to enhance their current strategy and nothing can stand in their way. They also have to strategize when it comes to knowing which card to upgrade, evolve, and awake. Players can customize their effects with powerful runes and they look for the best synergies that fits their play style.

Perfect Hand of Nostalpix is developed by Perennial Hearts, a Japanese indie game company that specializes in Japanese RPGs, card games, and Idle games for PC. The studio hopes to come out with games which can be played whenever, wherever, and eternally. There are currently plans of developing games for consoles in the future.
