Crossbros Games announced that the open playtest for Heroes of Anirea is now live. This lets players publicly try the game and get to enjoy the rich fantasy world. It gives them a taste of what awaits them in the final game. This open playtest is available for a limited period.
For the playtest, players can access seven heroes, each one having their own unique gameplay. The run has a duration of about 30 minutes and is set in the grasslands biome. They get to encounter 12 enemies and two bosses. There is also equipment and fates for the heroes that can be unlocked.
The playtest is open to everyone and those who want to join can click the Request Access button on the official Steam page of the game. Once that's done, they should get an automatic invitation to give it a try.
In a statement, the studio shared that through the playtest they hope to obtain valuable feedback that can help them "improve and polish" the game prior to its expected launch in 2027. The studio added that there's also a plan to launch a Kickstarter campaign as a way of securing funding. Those interested in supporting Heroes of Anirea can sign up now and receive exclusive updates regarding the campaign and the development of the game.
