Pluralys Offer a Combat-free RPG Experience

For a lot of players, RPGs are all about fighting. Developer Ivalys Studio hopes to change that with its title Pluralys. Instead of the traditional combat mechanics, it's all about meaningful connections and impactful dialogue. Players are challenged to save the world not through battles but instead with empathy and choice.

Pluralys is now in Early Access on Steam. The Standard Edition is currently being offered at 20% off for a limited period. Players can also get the Deluxe Edition which has the base game plus the official soundtrack.

Early Access

For the early access version, players can explore several environments across Sector G and Sector C. There’s even a bit of Sector B to look into. Players can look forward to the story scenes and dialogues that expand the world.

While the game may still be in early access, players can access all the game mechanics. In addition, a lot of improvements and additions are in this version that weren’t in the previous demos released.

A Giveaway Soon

As a way of celebrating the launch, the studio is hosting a giveaway on their social media channels. Players get the chance to win free merchandise and even game keys for their friends.

A World of Mysteries

Pluralys puts players in the role of Elie, a 16-year-old who loves RPGs and board games. Elie has lived a peaceful life in Sector G and now has the world turned upside down after receiving a cryptic and desperate message. What starts as a normal day eventually turns into an adventure in which Elie goes on a journey across a world where humans and mysterious creatures called Zeings co-exist.

A Bold Step

The game takes a bold step from the usual staples of RPG which are combat encounters and grinding for levels. Instead, it has players focus on compelling dialogue and encourage them to make those profound choices that leave a lasting impact on characters they meet. The good news is that Elie's mysterious time-bending Pager has become the perfect tool when it comes to analyzing the world. The device has the ability to stop time, manipulate objects, and uncover secrets which are invisible to the naked eye.
